Julius Evola - What is Tradition? - Audio Reading
An extremely important article by Evola, published in the periodical "Il conciliatore" on June 15, 1971, and later included, with some modifications, in the collection "L'Arco e la clava."
In this work, Evola, starting with a critique of a book by Elémire Zolla, then goes on to illustrate, in a necessarily concise but very clear manner, the two perspectives from which the concept of "Tradition" can be observed and understood: the historical one, connected to a morphology of civilizations and therefore to a true metaphysics of history, and the doctrinal, internal, "esoteric" one.
