Elgato Game Capture HD60 Latency Test
The screen on the right is my TV, Screen on the left is my PC monitor. I used Time.is to show the time on both my XBOX ONE and PC to compare and show Latancy of using the Elgato. I recorded this with my phone filming at 120 fps but final output is 30 fps so it is easier to see the difference. The time bottom left is from the PC, time on the right is from the Elgato pass through to my TV and the time top left is the Elgato Capturing the video. As you can see, the PC time (bottom left) is 1st, the output to my TV is 2nd (right) so a slight delay compared to the PC, and 3rd is from the Elgato capturing (top right) which again is slightly behind the TV and even more so my PC. This was a interesting experiment to show that there is some latency using the Elgato and so show that the Capturing and pass through are in fact not in perfect sync as some people have said it is
