This tutorial will cover trendy editing in Capture One – working with color, contrast, and sharpness. A few years ago, very minimalist color processing, almost completely devoid of colors other than red and orange, became fashionable. This color correction found its fans and is still popular today. As always, some photographers criticize this color correction, arguing that creating trendy colors for clients is wrong because the trend fades, leaving your clients with photos with unconventional colors. Other photographers ignore the opinions of their opponents and, following fashion trends, create modern color correction. Trendy editing in Capture One takes just a few minutes, and this is the kind of color correction I'll discuss in this tutorial.
