Shot with the kit lens, 18-55mm in minimal light. I've had my 550d/T2i for a couple of days and have really been struggling in low light with noisy video. Everyone else's seems to looks great but mine. I've learned a couple of things so far.
-The biggest noise reducer is to get a 50mm 1.8 MK II lens. If you can afford the 1.4 or even 1.2 then even better.
-Shoot at full 1080p with shutter speed of 50. 40 and 30 don't look as good with the kit lens in low light.
-Get a class 6 SD card. I've shot this with a crappy class 2 card that got sent with the camera. I tried a class 4 today and that reduced the noise even in full daylight.
-Go into the menu and change your picture style to user def 1. Go into that and take the contrast all the way to the left and the saturation 2 to the left.
That's all I got so far but if anyone has anymore advice please add to this. Hope this helps!
