A weekend trip to uMhlanga, Durban in January 2026
I flew on Airlink from Johannesburg to Durban and stayed in the Radisson Blu uMhlanga for one night.
The next morning I got to the real reason for this trip: a flight in a CemAir Beechcraft 1900D from Durban to Bloemfontein. The weather was not that great, but I did get a good view of Lesotho and the Katse Dam wall, a welcome opportunity to test my new camera.
The last part is the Airlink flight back to Johannesburg with some nice views of FNB Stadium, the Joburg CBD, Mall of Africa, and Grand Central airport.
