(CNN Newsource) -- Ford issued five safety recalls on Tuesday -- among them, a recall to fix a problem it created while correcting a previous recall.
The automaker is recalling nearly 40,000 Ford Crown Victorias, Lincoln Town Cars and Mercury Grand Marquis. They have a steering shaft that could break, causing a loss of steering. Ford says there's been at least one accident involving a car it fixed, but no one was injured.
The other recalls involve airbag problems on some Ford Flex and F-150 vehicles, a fuel line issue with some ford transit connect vehicles, some brake pedal problems with F-150s, and a fuel filter issue with some transit vehicles.
