Texture packs for Minecraft 1.18 are a truly incredible way to make Minecraft feel new and fresh. They can change the entire look and feel of Minecraft all by just changing the textures. Luckily, this video shows you how to download and install texture packs on Minecraft 1.18 on PC, so let’s get right on into it!
First things first, you will need to learn how to download textures for Minecraft PC 1.18. When you have found a 1.18 texture pack that you like, click the download button to be taken to that pack's download page. There, you will be able to download it. Just make sure you are getting the right version!
When you have a texture pack downloaded, we can move on to how to install texture in Minecraft 1.18. To get started, you will need to open up Minecraft 1.18. Then, from the Minecraft main menu, click on 'Options'. Then, select the 'Resource Packs' button. Resource Packs and Texture Packs are the exact same thing in Minecraft 1.18, so you will find me using them interchangeably.
In the resource packs tab, you will see an 'Open Resource Packs Folder' button in the bottom right of Minecraft. Click this, and as the button states, the Resource Pack folder will open. To use texture packs in Minecraft 1.18, just drag-and-drop the texture pack file you downloaded into this folder. It's that easy to install a Minecraft texture packs in 1.18.
You aren't completely finished just yet though. When you open Minecraft back up, the texture pack you want to install will be in the 'Available Resource Packs' section. Hover over the pack, and click the arrow that appears on it. This will move it to the 'Select Resource Packs' section. Click 'Done' at the bottom right-side of the screen and your Minecraft 1.18 texture pack will activate!
At this point, you can now play Minecraft 1.18 with your texture pack installed. You can also install multiple texture packs and easily switch between them. This can be great if you want to check out your builds in all kinds of different looks and styles.
