Quickly resize your Ubuntu LVM partition to use all available disk space. If you installed Ubuntu with the defaults, it likely only used half your allocated storage — here's how to fix that in under 5 minutes using vgdisplay, lvextend, and resize2fs.

0:00 - Intro
0:36 - Switch to Root
0:50 - Check Free Space (vgdisplay)
1:22 - Check Current Size (lvdisplay)
1:41 - Extend Logical Volume (lvextend)
2:14 - Confirm Size Change
2:44 - Resize Root File System (resize2fs)
3:26 - Verify Changes (df -h)
3:56 - Wrap Up

Commands Used:
vgdisplay → Check free space in volume group
lvdisplay → Check current logical volume size
lvextend -l +100%FREE /dev/ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv → Extend logical volume
resize2fs /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv → Resize root file system
df -h → Verify changes

NOTE: I called LV "Linux Volume" in this video, the correct term is "Logical Volume". Its 5am here and I'm still drinking my coffee :)
