Temporary undo allowed global temporary tables to be used as DML targets in a read-only database. Now you could stage temporary data in your reporting database to allow more flexible usage. But what if you wanted more? What if your reporting tool insisted on being able to do full DML operations on an Active Dataguard node?...Can you do read-write operations done on a read-only database? Yes you can!!!
