I found this problem and was able to fix it myself so I thought it might help you as well so decided to make a video and share it with you all so that you can fix the problem yourself. This can happen during your upgrade to a new version or the application itself got corrupted. Once you start the Image Capture application and it will look for SD Card and then your software will start to work. Why and exactly it happens that I don't know, only I can speculate it happens as I have mentioned above and also in the video. Apple Needs to Address This Issue, Why SD Card Doesn't Work after the Update.
