Windows 10 LTSC - a dream OS (demo)
Windows 10 LTSC is a Windows 10 version without Edge and without Store and apps. Windows 10 LTSB, as it was previously known, is short for "Long-Term Support Branch/Channel". LTSC is meant for specialized devices such as ATMs. You can't buy LTSC for your home computer - you must have a contract, and Microsoft will provide copies for your company. Microsoft discourages the use of LTSC at home, but as long as you don't care about new features, it is alright. That being said, Windows 10 LTSC is supported for 10 years after its release (typically every 2-3 years), and that includes only security updates. System administrators might often replace the common desktop and taskbar with an entirely new environment, suitable for the needs of the embedded computer.
