Madang MPs Welcomed
The people of Madang this morning held a welcome ceremony for new governor Ramsey Pariwa at the Madang airport. Governor Pariwa returned home today in the company of fellow Madang MP, the Member for Rai Coast Kessy Sawang.
The organising committee said a two-day program has been organised for the governor and Madang's members of parliament.
The second day of celebration is tomorrow, Wednesday 7th September. It will be a dedication program. An ecumenical service will be held for Madang's seven parliamentarians.
Meantime, the welcome ceremony today concluded with the swearing in of governor Pariwa at the Madang Provincial Assembly.
