How To Change Password Policies - Windows Security Essentials [Briefed In Description]

step 1: press win key + R in order to open RUN PROMPT
step 2: type secpol.msc into it and press ENTER
step 3: go in account policies and password policy
step 4: You'll see types of policies available on your computer there, they are self explaining and you may choose whatever policies you may like and apply the settings.
EXPLAINATION:
Enforce Password History: To make computer remember old passwords, should be at 0 so that attackers won't suspect any old password combinations.
Maximum Password age : It decides for how much longer does single password will be in use, after the expiration of maximum password age you've to make a new password in order to keep your system secure and up to date.
Password must meet complexity requirements : must be enabled as the password than will follow the rule of having special char's, numeric values and upper-lower case characters.
