Six years living in Poland as a British person - and in this video, I'm giving the most honest answer to a question I get asked a lot: how do Polish people actually treat me?
I break it down into two parts - my real life experience out in the real world, and my online experience through this channel - because the two tell similar, but not quite identical stories.
From Warsaw to rural Poland, north to south, the pattern has been remarkably consistent. But I also don't want to give a rose-tinted picture, because there are some nuances worth being honest about - including some things I've had to reflect on about my own position here as a foreigner.
