Polish graphene - advanced works on supermaterial in ITME
The Institute of Electronic Materials Technology started working on graphene before 2010, the year when the Nobel Prize was granted for its work on this material.
ITME developed methods of producing two forms of graphene: flake graphene and thin-layered graphene. The Institute has a globally valid patent on placing the graphene on that substance.
Scientists created hallotron, which is a graphene magnetic field sensor.
The National Centre for Research and Development granted the institute almost 1 million zlotys for the development of this technology.
