Drawing Chuck & Sarah with Digital Art
Welcome to my Speedpaint Timelapse Illustration I did of Chuck and Sarah from the tv series, Chuck. This is a type of art study I like to do on occasion where I insert an image into the background and I use it as a reference or guideline for my initial linework.
After I am done with my rough sketch, I will hide the image layer or delete it altogether and work from what I have! This is a really good technique to use if you are just starting out drawing characters, or if you really want to get the look of a character down and you've never drawn them before.
I am currently working on my background illustration skills and wanted to draw something familiar with a background that was a little more complicated than what I usually do.
