Issue 30. Milling at an angle on a homemade flatbed milling planer Yashin-2.
Tests were conducted on the upgraded Yashin-2 flatbed milling machine for woodworking, designed based on a Makita RP2300FC hand-held router and CNC machine components, in angle milling mode.
The tests demonstrated the feasibility of a simple milling method at a maximum angle of 18.5 degrees.
According to channel commentators' suggestions, the following could be designed based on the Yashin-2:
1. A jig doweling machine (idea by Alexander Kudryavtsev).
2. A panel saw (idea by Yakov the carpenter).
3. An attachment (without a perforated panel) for mounting on a workbench, such as a Festool or Wolfcraft (idea by Yakov the carpenter).
4. A stump leveler (idea by Evgeny Klimov).
5. A machine with a vice-based clamping system similar to the Leehyun Woodro (idea by Maksym Mykhailov, USA).
6. A machine for arc milling (idea by Sergo Lab).
7. A carriage for a router based on a rectangular aluminum tube (idea by WoodWorkMix).
Let's discuss what other machines could be designed based on the Yashin-2, and your suggestion will be added to this list.
