The year is 477, the Roman Forum, once the beating heart of western civilization is now little more than a ruin. Its glory now faded is still visible. The Empire who ruled the world from the Eternal City on the banks of the Tiber is gone, but the sack of 476 was just the final nail in the coffin for a civilization whose decline began long ago. This is the story of the end of the Golden Era. The story of how a city of marble was reduced once more to a city of brick.
