Until the ios 15 and earlier, the Wi-fi network password was impossible. But after upgrading to iOS 16, a tiny but new feature was spotted in wi-fi settings, and it is Password.
This will become useful because we almost require a wi-fi password 5 to 6 times a year. But, at that time, we forget our home wi-fi or office wi-fi password.
You guys, in this video, I'm going to show you how to see the wi-fi network password which is connected to your iPhone.
Very simple to learn, just watch the full video and get your job done.
The minimum system requirement is iOS 16 and later.
you can see the current IOS version on your iPhone
go to settings next click general and tap on about, on this page you can see installed fimrware.
Now Let's Start
Open the Settings App on your iPhone
hit on wi-fi tab
now turn on wi-fi and connect to a wi-fi network if your device is not connected.
after connecting a previously connected wi-fi network
tap on the i icon next to the wi-fi name
on the wi-fi network screen, a new setting appears that is Password
I'm tapping on Password, here authentication required
I have face id enabled on ym iPhone, so it will show Password after face scanning, same way touch id and digit passcode also work to see wi-fi password.
So on my screen, my wi-fi network password appears.
Most helpful when the family is coming to our home, and you forgot your Password at that moment. You can see Password this way and do copy and share it with them.
Still, the Wi-FI SSD and password QR code facility are unavailable like on Android phones. But we hope in future udpate it will come into the pack.
Remember that this trick won't work to see an unknown wi-fi network password.
