We have video footage with audio on the timeline in DaVinci Resolve. When I move the video, the audio also moves because they are linked together, as indicated by the link icon on both the video and audio. You can also see the active link icon on the toolbar. To remove audio from the video, right-click on either the video or audio, then uncheck the "Link Clips" option. You can also use the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + L. Now, click in a blank area to deselect them. If I select the audio now and hit the delete key, both the video and audio are deleted. To solve this, hit Ctrl + Z to undo. Next, select the audio, move it slightly, then hit the delete key to delete only the audio. Another option is to select the audio clip and hit the backspace key. If you want to recover the audio, simply select the footage and hit the F key to open its source file on the monitor. Now, grab the audio and place it underneath the video clip. To link them again, select both, right-click on either, and choose "Link Clips," or use the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + L.
