Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a single-player action-adventure game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The game follows Cal Kestis after Order 66 and combines lightsaber combat, Force abilities, exploration, platforming, and Souls-like checkpoint mechanics.
In this video, I tested Fallen Order on an M1 Max MacBook Pro using CrossOver. The game was very playable overall, but I did notice some occasional jitter and stutter during gameplay and cutscenes. I also cover the controller setting you need to change if you are using a wireless controller, plus how to install a simple mod to replace the Xbox button prompts with PlayStation-style buttons.
I also show an optional way to launch the game directly through CrossOver, which may help if you run into EA App issues.
This tutorial is mainly for Apple Silicon Macs, including M1, M2, M3, M4, and M5 Macs, but performance will vary depending on your Mac, RAM, graphics settings, CrossOver version, and the game’s own compatibility.
