YouTube sends emails when you will lose monetization in 14 days, as you see at 0:17 in this video.
To prevent this from happening to your channel, upload a video or post in your Community tab at least once every 6 months.

If you are demonetized, do not worry! You can convert all your videos to monetized blogs by joining as a Founding Writer to keep earning money even if your channel is not earning anything.
