How to Remove or Disable Popup Ads Banners from GOM Player 2016
I am showing how to delete or remove annoying advertising banners from GOM Player.
This method is a bit complicated, but it helps to 100% once and for all.
You need to find skin.xml file ...
Than to find the lines:
StaticControl CID="CONTROLID_WEB_MOVIE_WRAPPER" StaticControlType="color" ControlColor="black" Align="client"
Gaps="0,0,0,1" Show="0"
BrowserControl CID="CONTROLID_WEB_MOVIE" Align="client" Gaps="2,2,2,2" OfflineHide="1" /

And comment them out, that is, to add "bracket"!-- at the beginning of the first line of code and --"bracket" at the end of the last line of code (if you want to be able to restore everything as it was) ...
... Or just delete these lines
and save the changes.
