Immersive Writing Session - Gothic Castle Library | A Romantic Afternoon Among Books | Dark Academia
You enter the castle library and begin to rummage through the books, pulling them off of shelves, rifling through them, and reshelving them. In the distance, you can hear servants moving about and setting up for an evening event as an orchestra tunes up and plays simple melodies several rooms away. Finding something that sparks your interest, you find a quiet corner to settle in and write as the soft sound of far-off music tickles your ears between note-taking. After some time, you wander toward the library’s main entrance to stretch your legs. The evening celebrations seem to be underway now and several servants scamper in and out of the room and up and down the many flights of stairs. You catch the gossiping whispers of people outside in the hall as you search for a book to take with you. Pleased with how the afternoon has gone, you wander further into the depths of the castle to find a cozy spot to read for a few more hours before going back to your chambers for the night.
