Stable Diffusion 05 Checkpoint Models: Find, Install and Use
The Stable Diffusion 1.5 or 2.x model / checkpoint is general purpose, it can do a lot of things, but it does not really excel at something in particular. If you like to create good looking people, or if you're into Anime, or architecture, models available that are specifically trained to do these things with a higher quality.
CivitAI is a site where many models can be found. We'll have a look how to find them and then download, install and select them for use.
We often come across terms like VAE, baked, pruned, F16 or F32 ... what does this all mean? The video goes into this. In many cases a VAE is baked in with the model, but sometimes we need to download, install and select a specific VAE.
