In this video, we will be going over the advanced settings available when Redacting Audio with CaseGuard.
In the previous video, we learned to Redact using the four (4) methods and about the three (3) audio Redactions and Effects. Along with those capabilities, CaseGuard allows you to use advanced features such as “Copy Effect" and "Bulk Update Audio Points".
“Copy Effect”: This feature allows you to copy all the audio Effects and Redactions applied in one video, to one or all videos in your CaseGuard Studio project.
Right-click anywhere on the audio wave and select "Copy Effects To."
It will allow you to choose from all of the video files currently available in your CaseGuard Studio project.
You can select to apply the exact Redaction points and Effects to one or all the videos in your CaseGuard project.
This is helpful for Redacting videos of the same event that may be found from multiple body-worn cameras, videos from surveillance, and cell phone footage.
“Bulk Update Audio Points Feature”: This feature allows users to replace all the Redaction Reasons and Effects with one click.
If you have multiple types of features but want to make them all the same, you can easily select this option.
Select to replace the Redaction Reasons using the drop-down.
Check the “Print Reports” above to see that all of your Redaction Reasons have been replaced by the option you have selected.
In the next video, we will learn about the AI Automatic Audio Redaction features in CaseGuard Studio.
Happy Redacting!
