During early quarantine, I read Yukio Mishima's On Hagakure which fascinated me and prompted me to buy a katana to include in my meditation techniques. When I began filming Charge On, I incorporated a sequence of taking a long bath in preparation for "seppuku" to convey the harrowing feelings and seemingly demonic voices in my head while going through dark times.
