If a BIG earthquake hits, do you know what to do?
We visited the Natural Disaster Preparation Learning Center in Nerima-ku in Tokyo to learn more.
WHEN INSIDE(if there's a desk):
Go below a desk and protect your head.
Make sure no part of your body is outside the desk since
things in the house might fall down and hurt you.
WHEN INSIDE(if there's NO desk):
Hide underneath a think blnaked or duvet and cover especially your
head with a cussion or pillow.
WHEN OUTSIDE:
Protect yourself from potential falling objects, holding a bag/backpack over your head.
Distance yourself from any building to a spacious open area.
