At an electronic systems development company, your team was tasked with creating a simple logic control module that uses NAND and XOR operations. This module will be integrated into a larger system to check sensor states and activate warning signals (LEDs) according to the established logic.

The challenge is to implement the NAND and XOR functions in the laboratory, validate their operations with practical tests, and present the results for project approval.

STEP 01

Complete ACTIVITY 3 of the experiment script at your center, take photos of the assembled circuit with the LEDs lit, and attach them as an answer.
1.a) How did the logical behavior of the LEDs help in validating the circuits? Attach the photos here.
1.b) What were the main challenges faced when implementing the XOR and NAND gate circuits?
1.c) How did this experiment help to understand the practical operation of logic gates?

STEP 02
2.a) For each operation (NOT, AND, OR) implemented with the NAND gate, construct the corresponding generic truth table.
2.b) Write the generic Boolean expressions that represent each operation performed.
2.c) Construct the generic truth table for the XOR logic.
2.d) Present the Boolean expression that describes the XOR gate.
