UCTRONICS Raspberry Pi Rack Build (PoE + SD Extender Install)
In this video, I build out a Raspberry Pi rack setup using UCTRONICS gear and walk through everything step by step.
This includes installing a MicroSD card extender, adding a PoE HAT for power over Ethernet, and mounting a Raspberry Pi 3B+ into a 1U rack mount.
This is part of my homelab build, working toward a clean, fully rack-mounted Raspberry Pi setup.

If you're building a homelab or looking to clean up your Pi setup, this should give you a solid starting point.
I would’ve loved to use the UCTRONICS U6246, but it’s a bit out of my budget right now. Their newer options for the Pi 4B (RM004) and Pi 5 (ASIN: B0D4526YHQ) are honestly awesome. Too bad I love using the Pi 3B+ units and don’t have any Pi 4s yet—just one Pi 5 16GB for now.
