TITAN 1260 vs META ARAMID MANIKIN BURN
As part of its ongoing research, development and quality programme, PBI regularly subjects its products to independent burn tests. The most recent tests were carried out by BTTG and the garments were burned for 8 seconds on a male heat sensing manikin. 123 sensors on torso, arms and legs monitor the temperature on the manikin during the tests and are exposed to heat flux of 84kW/m2.
