VR GoTY 2024 Candidate: Batman: Arkham Shadow
I wasn't expecting a whole heck of a lot out of this game after the Hitman 3 disaster, and the fact Asgard's Wrath 2 made me nauseous. So we went in with the bar set nice and low and got absolutely blown away. I only included the first couple of hours of gameplay in the review video so I don't spoil the incredible story in this game, but the first 8 hours I've played is the most immersive VR experience I've ever had the honor of playing and possibly the best VR game ever made, even when compared to the current champion Half Life: Alyx. The fact that this game runs on Quest 3 and Quest 3S is utterly bonkers. Strap in my dudes, this is no short story. We have a full AAA Batman VR game to play, finally!
