Revit Architecture Week 4 Assignments, Revit Architecture Week 4 Assignments, Putting a Roof on your Project, Roof Command on the Ribbon, Plus Various Options with some Tips, Tricks, and Traps along the Way.

In this video we will show you how to start putting on a roof – on your project in Revit. We are going to start with Levels – adding a roof Level on top of the standard Level 1 and Level 2 levels that Revit starts you out with. Go to an elevation, front, back, side, click on an existing level with the control key select and drag to a new level, click on text to change generic name and elevation height, padlock so it doesn’t move. Ribbon, 1/4 of the way over is the Roof Button, dialog opens asking what level for the roof, select our roof level, exit out of the roof command if needed (before going on).
