A few years ago, my mentor, my boss, and one of my closest friends passed away.
We worked together every day.
We built teams together.
Not long before he died, he told me something that stayed with me.
He said he couldn’t wait to retire.
He just wanted to do more of what he actually enjoyed.
He thought he had time.
