NovemBeats ‘22 / #6: Caudal Luring /
Tonight’s beat is just a little sketch on Ableton Note. I love this app, it really helps remove some of those weird psychological barriers we can have when it comes to making music. The stock sounds are mostly decent, the sampler is great for found sounds and odd bits, and it makes me try out unfamiliar genres. Not that I’m sure what genre this is. I like it, though.
Note is about £5 on iOS (I don’t think it’s on Android but could be wrong) and if you have Ableton Live 11 you can move ideas you start in the app over to Live and develop them further if you want. I’m stuck on Live 10 for now as I’ve been spending my money on hardware like the SP404 Mk2 instead, but have been getting back into Ableton lately.. ❤️
