Fish In A Birdcage - Bugleap PMV (Warriors OCs)
NOTE: Does this look a bit different than my newer pieces? Maybe in a bad, 'your style is regressing' way?
That is because this was an older sketch that I just decided to sit through and get done. Some of this was already sketched, outlined, colored, shaded, etc. I tried to keep it consistent
This piece has more symbolism than actual realism! The world isn't purple/red, and Bugleap does not actually have chains around him. It's meant to symbolize how trapped he feels.
Summary:
After learning of his inevitable death, Sun Nation apprentice Bugleap does his best to keep his hopes up. His mentor, Willowsong, does his best to cheer Bugleap up, even though deep inside he's stressed out of his mind.
The question remains though: who is going to kill Bugleap?
