Powers born purely of the mind's own innate strength are a curious thing and those that wield them seem stranger still to those who practice the more traditional Arcane Arts, or submit themselves to a higher power in exchange for that sliver of the Divine.
So too is the Occultist a curious practitioner of these arts; able to wield an array of powers comparable to the Eight Schools of Magic by merely presenting an object of some significance to either themselves, or tied to important events and figures from history.
By investing portions of their power into such foci, they are able to unlock yet more abilities and expend such investments to gain boons further still.
