This video goes with my book The ACT Math Guide, which is free for Amazon Prime members ($9.99 if you don't have Prime). You can get the book at http://amzn.to/2iQNDFE or check it out on my website http://www.thetestuy.com/actbook.

This video in the ACT Math Review deals with making an equation. The video is a combination of a practical, problem based video and a skills video.

There are a TON of make-an-equation questions on the ACT. And they aren't just relegated to this section. To get a solid ACT Math skill, you've got to be comfortable making an equation.

Here's a couple of tips:

1. Break things down into single operation statements. Don't try and do too much at one time.

2. Build your equation as you go and mark-off (if the answer choices are equations).

3. Remember that verbs (is, are) tend to be equal signs.

Since I never remember to ask for it in videos, I'd love it if you liked and/or subscribed.

Good Luck,

Jacob
