Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a little story from my development journey. While Unreal Engine is often praised for its cutting-edge 3D capabilities, I decided to challenge myself by creating a 2D pixel-art game entirely using Blueprints.

To my surprise, UE handled it incredibly well – from animation management, to collision, to UI. The flexibility of Blueprints allowed me to quickly prototype mechanics, and I never felt limited despite working in a pixel-based, retro style. Honestly, I think this shows how versatile Unreal Engine can be, even outside the typical 3D/AAA projects.

After a lot of iteration, I’ve finally reached a milestone: the game now has a playable demo available on Steam! 🎉
It’s a dark fantasy action game with roguelite elements, focusing on combat, character growth, and atmospheric storytelling.
