Yamal-Nenets Governor on Yamal LNG: Putin, Paris and Beijing - Arctic Circle Assembly
How does Russia plan to develop the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug region in the Russian Federation.
Most of the Yamal-Nenets territory is located within the Arctic Circle. The region contains Russia’s largest hydrocarbon reserve area. 90% of all natural gas in Russia is produced there which is one fifth of the entire Global share. Many developmental and infrastructure projects are currently underway in the region. The Governor of Yamal, Dmitry Kobylkin, spoke at the Arctic Circle Assembly about the project: 'Yamal LNG' and investment potential in the area.
