How to Increase FPS Cap to 300 FPS in DCS Digital Combat Simulator.
Tested on 17.02.2023 with "openbeta" "version": "2.8.2.35759".
I check my "autoexec.cfg" file and it is upmodified after updating the game.
This is the line I am using:
"options.graphics.maxfps = 400"
On the Syria map in a F-16CM bl.50 with SKILL set to Player I am on 270fps using a 4090 graphics card. So yes I have tested it and it is still working on 17.02.2023. There is no 180 fps cap.
Right Control and Pause Break will show you the FPS in game.

1 go to c:\users\"your username"\saved games\DCS.openbeta\Config
2 create file "autoexec.cfg"
3 enter in file "options.graphics.maxfps = 300"
4 save in directory of step 1
5 enjoy
I am using a 4090 asus tuf gaming 4090 oc.
On 31.10.2022 the game seems to be capped at 180 FPS by default, this may change in the future.
On 17.02.2023 with "openbeta" "version": "2.8.2.35759" there is no longer a cap and I now have 270fps in game with a 4090.
