Free Cash flow is cash from operation minus capital expenditures.

It's the money left from a company’s core operations after paying bills and what they spend on things like purchasing property, investing in a plant, buildings or equipment.

The FCF reveals a company's real cash generation. Having excess FCF allows companies to do fun things like pay dividends, buy back shares, Re-invest in growth or pay down debt.
