How To Convert AVIF To JPG Or PNG And Other Image File Types
In this video, I’ll show you how to convert AVIF images to a different image format of your choice.
AVIF is a relatively new image file format compared to more common types like JPG and PNG. It was developed by the Alliance for Open Media and officially released on February 19, 2019.
AVIF stands for AV1 Image File Format and is used to store images compressed with the AV1 codec, wrapped within the HEIF container format.

Steps To Convert AVIF To Other Image Formats:
1. Open up your browser and navigate to https://cloudconvert.com/avif-to-jpg or any other image file type linked above
2. Click Select File
3. Select your AVIF image file
4. Click Open
5. Click on Options which is denoted by the wrench icon to edit your soon to be converted image output. You can adjust the following image parameters: Width, Height, Fit, Metadata, and Quality.
6. Click Okay
7. Click Convert
8. Click Download
9. Choose a download location and click Save to download your converted image
10. Navigate to your chosen save location. If you are using Google Chrome browser, go to the bottom left of your browser and click the up arrow next to your converted image
11. Click Show in folder
12. Open your newly converted image by double clicking on it.
Congratulations, you have successfully converted your AVIF image to another image file format.
