Ford Tests Smart Traffic Light Tech
Ford is trialling connected traffic light tech that could make the lights automatically go green to offer clearer routes for ambulances, fire engines and police vehicles. In daily driving situations, the red-green timing information could also be sent to approaching vehicles to reduce congestion.
