split your company data year wise in tally .
My suggestion is before you start to split your company data , please update all your bank entries, statutory entries,
updating of all you cash transactions and debtors , creditors reconciliation.
Now let's start how to split data
Step 1
go to tally and select the company which you are going to split
and select the period from the begining
Example : If your company data is having from 1st april 2017 to 31st march 2019
you have to select by clicking period button and enter from 1st april 2017 to 31st march 2019
Step 2
Click on company info BUTTON available on right side
sTEP 3
click on split company data and select company and proceed to next step
step 4
in split from field enter date 1st april 2018 and enter to accept
it will take some time to split your data . dont distrub this screen let it to process
