I Rebuilt SwiftUI’s ProgressView And It Looks 100% Native

SwiftUI’s built-in ProgressView looks simple, but recreating its feel is not.
In this live demo, I rebuild an Apple-style loading spinner from scratch using pure SwiftUI. No UIKit, no third-party libraries, and no animation hacks.
You’ll see how closely matching system behavior requires respecting control size, supporting Reduce Motion, using TimelineView for clock-driven animation, and carefully designing the geometry and opacity model so the motion feels natural rather than decorative.
This isn’t about copying visuals. It’s about understanding how Apple thinks about motion, accessibility, and scale—and applying that thinking in real production SwiftUI code.
If you care about Apple-quality UI, this is how you build it.
