KB 000491 | Defining Stirrup Spacing
To cover the required transverse reinforcement, RF‑CONCRETE Members and CONCRETE determine the most cost-efficient transverse reinforcement as a reinforcement proposal in accordance with the predefined stirrup diameter. Often, the results of such a determining process are irregular distances between stirrups which cannot be built in at construction sites. By specifying the possible distances of the stirrup reinforcement, you can define the desired distances (for example, in steps of 5 cm). The reinforcement proposal for the stirrup reinforcement is generated from the defined stirrup diameters and spacings and can thus be used for performing the reinforcement work on the construction site.
