Not all UI elements are straightforward; some require a little creativity to automate.

In this video, we walk through a real-world scenario where MuukTest automated a test involving flow diagram creation. The challenge?
Many of the elements, such as boxes, links, and canvas, shared a single selector, making them tough to interact with using standard automation methods.

Here's how we solved it:

Created a test that fills out a workflow form and initiates a flow diagram
Dragged and dropped boxes onto a shared canvas using custom coordinates
Linked elements together by clicking on specific sides of each shape
Validated editable content inside boxes and link labels
Used bounding box logic to define precise click points inside each selector

Instead of relying on default center interactions, we tapped into coordinate-based automation—a technique now built into MuukTest for handling complex layouts.
