Helloooo friends! In today's video we'll go over my soft body workflow when I'm working with simulations in Cinema 4D and want to get them into UE5. I know soft body animations/simulations are really fun for people and have also been gaining so much popularity over the last few years that I thought this would be a fun one to cover.
I cover the two main methods of exporting - alembic and cineware. I go over step by step how to get your simulations to work in UE5 as well as the Sequencer/camera shot workflow. And throughout the video you'll get an idea of how long the export/import times are as well as how polycounts effect the file size.
Also just wanted to say a big thank you for all the support lately, I've been so happy seeing the nice comments and viewership/subscriber count growing! It really is super motivating and I can't wait to make more videos. Also very keen on exploring the more creative and art direction side of Unreal, soooo stay tuned!
