Semuc Champey Pool & Caving in Guatemala
We stayed in the town of Lanquín, Guatemala, famous for it's stunning lush mountains and the natural pools of Semuc Champey. We also went caving in the area. It's easy to do both when you book a day trip. You can pretty easily do it yourself as well without a guide but it's a bit of a ways from the town so having transportation there and back is great, and they watch your stuff as you swim in the pools. Also it's supporting the local economy so if you're not on too tight a budget I'd suggest a guided tour.
